About Us
My name is Bryce Demoret — founder of Caps For A Cause and a resident physician training to become a board-certified dermatologist. If you know me, you already know how much I despise cancer. It has touched my life in deeply personal ways, and I suspect many of you and your loved ones understand that feeling all too well.
I started this nonprofit with a few things in mind: because #cancersucks, because the people I love deserve to know the risks skin cancer poses, and - let's be honest - because everyone looks better in a wide-brimmed hat. What began as a personal mission to educate my family, friends, and community has grown into something I hope can make a real difference for many more people beyond my own backyard.

Our mission is simple: increase skin cancer awareness and equip people with the knowledge to protect themselves and their loved ones.

Caps For A Cause is committed to keeping this site stocked with up-to-date, accessible information — covering the different types of skin cancer, risk factors, prevention strategies, and early detection. Our goal is to give you the confidence to recognize warning signs and know when it's time to see a dermatologist.

Every contribution makes a direct impact. A portion of proceeds funds community awareness through our website, events, and educational materials — while the majority is compiled annually and donated toward melanoma research. Because awareness is only half the battle; finding a cure is the other.
